Alcohol policies and alcohol-attributable disease burden in Europe (ALCINEUR)
Alcohol is a significant contributor to mortality and morbidity in Europe. The “Alcohol in Europe” (ALCINEUR) project aims to compare the levels of alcohol policy restrictiveness and alcohol-attributable burden of disease in European countries from 1990 to 2020. This study will provide insights into how well countries and regions manage alcohol consumption, and its adverse health effects, through alcohol policies.
