About me

  • My research covers different topics within epidemiology and intervention research with focus on diet and health as well as behavioral change. I defended my thesis in 2014, entitled Diet in Epidemiology – Assessment, Validity and Association with Upper Respiratory Tract Infection. During my post doc at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston, USA, I studied dietary patterns and cardiovascular disease among individuals with hypertension using two large prospective cohort studies.

Research

  • My research in nutritional epidemiology focuses on dietary assessment, assocation studies and interventions including studies on:

    • methodology
    • cardiovascular disease
    • determinant of a healthy lifestyle
    • behavioral change
    • development and implementation of intervention studies
    • health among both youth and adults
