I am a senior researcher at Karolinska Instiutet (KI) and professor in working life
science at Karlstad University. I am associate professor (docent) at KTH
and I got my PhD at KTH on the thesis "The dangerous commitment" with
professor Jan Forslin as Supervisor.

I recieved the HRM reserach price (HR Forskningspriset) in 2022 and the S:ta Ragnhildmedaljen in 2016. 

I am in the board of Lars-Erik Lundbergs stiftelse.

My research embraces several, but connected, sub areas within working life science. The core of my publications contributes to the sub areas work 
environment, digitalisation of work, co-workership (medarbetarskap), human resource management, leadership development, organisational change, project management, – all with a special focus on the work situation of the individual. I have mainly studied industrial settings and municipalities.
My research is mainly qualitative, but also includes quantitative research methods.

My subject areas for teaching are: human resource management, leadership, group development, stress, and sustainable work. An overall perspective that can summarize my educational standpoint is what I want to accomplish with my teaching, I want to create an interest in my topic and give undergraduate students opportunities to become good leaders and/or HR professionals, and thus create sustainable jobs, i.e. work that is sustainable from both economic and human perspectives.
