I am a doctoral student working on the intervention development and health economic evaluation of an adolescent nutrition intervention as part of Changemaker. Changemaker is an EU-funded project centered on sustainable adolescent nutrition to reduce obesity and relate non-communicable diseases in informal settlement in Burkina Faso, Kenya, and Tanzania. The project is a collaboration between 13 parties based in Sweden, Finland, Germany, Burkina Faso, Tanzania, Kenya, and the US. In this role, I am immersed in both conducting research and providing programmatic support, aiming to implement effective strategies that promote lasting improvements in adolescent health.

In addition to my work on adolescent nutrition, I am actively involved in another impactful project focusing on healthcare worker vaccine confidence in Nigeria. Collaborating closely with the University Hospital College Ibadan, this project is aimed at understanding and addressing the factors influencing vaccine confidence among healthcare workers.

Conducted my master's thesis on leveraging faith-leaders to address violence against women and girls in the Ethiopia context in collaboration with the Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology.
