Research Division of Chemical biology and genome engineering
The Division of Chemical biology and genome engineering consists of five core facilities for research. It is located at SciLifeLab.
Core facilities
Chemical Biology Consortium Sweden
The mission of (CBCS) is to provide a state-of-the-art platform and expertise for the generation of high-quality bioactive chemical tools (small organic molecules) for applications within life science research in general and with the ultimate goal to explore complex biology.
Drug Discovery and Development Platform
The SciLifeLab (DDD) offers integrated drug discovery efforts to the Swedish academic research community.
CRISPR Functional Genomics
The facility provides affordable access to high throughput functional genomic screens using the CRISPR/Cas9 system in cell lines.
Laboratories for Chemical Biology 探花精选
Laboratories for Chemical Biology 探花精选 (LCBKI) comprises compound handling labs, screening labs, and chemistry labs.
Karolinska Genome Engineering
Karolinska Genome Engineering (KGE) are specialists in CRISPR/Cas technology, and it is our mission to facilitate and accelerate your research by providing flexible and affordable gene-editing services in cell lines, embryonic stem cells and induced pluripotent stem cells.
Protein Science Facility
The Protein Science Facility (PSF) provides protein production, Macromolecular X-ray crystallography (MX) and biophysical protein characterization. Access to instruments for MX and biophysics are available after user training.
