About Equal Opportunities at KI

̽»¨¾«Ñ¡'s (KI) operations must be characterized by participation, openness, equality and diversity as well as care for the environment, both internal and external. In order to promote equal rights and opportunities for all students and employees, as well as to counter all forms of discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, victimization and exclusion, we work actively with equality opportunities.

Equal opportunities are a key value in KI's endeavor to conduct research and education of the highest quality, to have a dynamic collaboration with the surrounding society as well as to secure the supply of skills by attracting and retaining the best employees and students.

Equal opportunities are an important building block in the work to reach the gender equality policy goal, that women and men should have the same power to shape society and their own lives. It also includes KI's work to promote equal rights and opportunities regardless of sex, transgender identity or expression, sexual orientation, ethnicity, skin color, faith, disability and/or age. Various laws, regulations, assignments and guidelines govern this work.
