All applications are made electronically in our recruitment system. After you have registered and logged in, you fill in the web form with your personal information, answer some questions and upload your CV.  In some recruitments, you apply without a personal letter. In those cases, you need to answer some questions about why you are applying for the job.You can submit or update your application until 23.59 on the last application day. After that, the advertisement closes and disappears from the list of vacancies. Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an email confirming that we have received it.

The recruitment process for teaching positions follows the same principles as other types of positions, but the process looks a bit different and takes longer as it often involves opinions from external experts and preparation in the Recruitment Committee. Please visit this page for more information about the recruitment process for Professor and Senior Lecturer

Selection and interview

When the application period has expired, we make a selection based on the requirements profile for the position. We select based on who best matches the requirements for education, experience and competences specified in advertisement. If you are one of those who best matches the requirements you will be invited to an interview.

If you are invited to an interview

During the interview, you usually meet a recruiting manager and generally one or two other employees. At ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡, we work with competence-based recruitment. This means that the questions in the interview are asked based on the characteristics and abilities that are requested in the advertisement. During the interview, you will be asked to describe previous situations and give examples based on them. You can prepare yourself by thinking through situations in your previous work, where you have used the qualities, abilities or experiences required in the ad.

We care about recruitment processes being objective and therefore we ask questions that are relevant to the current profile's requirements. As part of the overall assessment, you may also be asked to take one or more web-based work psychology tests. If you become one of our final candidates, we will ask for your references at the end of the process.
