About me

  • Adjunct university lecturer at the Division of Speech and Language Pathology,
    CLINTEC, ̽ѡ (KI) and employed at the Speech and Language
    Pathology, Medical Unit, Karolinska University Hospital as a speech language
    pathologist.
    The main focus of the clinical work is assessment and intervention of
    patients who have voice disorders with functional, organic or neurological
    causes. Since 2005, the work has focused on individuals with gender dysphoria
    who experience voice dysphoria and is offered gender-affirming voice therapy
    as well as women who are bothered by a virilization of the voice.
    Speech and Language Pathology Degree 1989.
    PhD 2014, at KI with the thesis “Effects of increased levels of androgens
    on voice and vocal folds in women with congenital adrenal hyperplasia and
    female-to-male transsexual clients”.
