About me

  • My research interest lies at the intersection between chemosenses and cognition. I study how our human mind processes smells and tastes using electrophysiological recordings. Specifically, I am interested in understanding how does the human mind represents these chemosensory inputs in working memory.

    My PhD work centers around gustation and cognition at Research Centre Jülich, Germany. Following this, I moved to France (Center for Taste and Feeding Behavior in Dijon) to study flavor perception - a percept arises from the integration of taste and smell. Prior to my doctoral studies, I spent four years as a Research Assistant at Monash University, Malaysia Campus, investigating decision-making processes using EEG, and examining the interplay between socioeconomic status and executive functioning.

    Currently, my research focuses on olfaction and working memory.
