Robert Thiesmeier

About me

I am doctoral student at the Department of Global Public Health. The aim of my doctoral project is to investigate and evaluate statistical methods for the design, analysis, and interpretation of pooling projects. We are working in close collaboration with the National E-Infrastructure of Aging Research () at the Aging Research Center (ARC) to inform our simulations. The project is supervised by Assoc. Prof. Nicola Orsiniand Prof. Scott Hofer.
I am currently on a 6-month research fellowship at the at Brigham and Women's Hospital / Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA, USA.

I teach biostatistics in the Master of Public Health Sciences (basic and advanced biostatistics) and in the doctoral programme of Epidemiology (Stata programming and logistic regression).
