I am currently establising independent research in the field of large-scale epidemiology of dermatological conditions. The main focus is on Autoimmune Blistering Disorders, a group of particularly severe dermatological diseases which are not uncommonly fatal. I also have ongoing projects in psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, mastocytosis, skin cancers, cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, and more. Furthermore, I perform clinical studies and pilot treatment studies.

My broad epidemiological research scope currently involves both national (̽»¨¾«Ñ¡, Uppsala University, University of Gothenburg) and international (University of Lübeck, UCLA, Rush University Medical Center Chicago, Technical University of Munich) collaborations.
