About me

  • I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Unit of Integrative Epidemiology. My current research focuses on associations between mental illness and infectious disease (e.g. COVID-19, HPV). I have been conducting psychiatric epidemiological research using electronic healthcare data since the start of my PhD, during which I researched anxiety and depression among children and young people with life-limiting conditions. My first postdoctoral research position at the University of Leicester, UK, focused on young-onset type 2 diabetes and it's association with psychiatric and physical morbidity and mortality.
