I am a physician and a PhD student at the Clinical Epidemiology Unit at Karolinska institutet.
My PhD project is focused on novel approaches for prediction of 
postpartum hemorrhage, the number one cause of maternal mortality and
morbidity world-wide. For the project we will be using modern statistical
methods and rigorous databases from the Pregnancy Register, the Medical
Birth Register and the Stockholm Gotland Obstetric cohort to analyze temporal
trends and risk factors with the overall aim of improved prediction of
postpartum hemorrhage.
