About me

  • I'm a lecturer and researcher at the Division of Occupational Therapy, at the Department of Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society, KI.
    I defended my Ph.D. thesis in 2021, with the title: "Assistive technology and Welfare technology explorations. Aspects of perception, utilisation and decision-making". 

    In addition to my position at the division of occupational therapy, I am also associated researcher at Linköpings University and Örebro University.

Research

  • My current area of research is assistive and welfare technology, homerehabilitation, accessibility, and participation in society for people with impairments, especially older adults. I am also interested in the enablers and barriers when home- and health care is provided in ordinary housing and dementia care homes.

Teaching

  • I teach at the undergraduate level in the occupational therapy program and am a course coordinator and I supervise at the undergraduate, master, and doctoral levels.
