Jenny Valcke
About me
I am an Educational Developer at the Unit for Teaching and Learning (UoL) and Researcher at the Department of Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics (LIME) at ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ (KI) in Stockholm, Sweden. My role includes teaching, training and advising on issues related to Internationalisation of the Curriculum (IoC), cultural education, Global Citizenship Education (GCE) and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in healthcare sciences. I provide support and prepare educators and supervisors for the challenges of the multilingual and multicultural learning space. I am involved in supporting quality education in English-Medium Education (EME) and I also provide support for educational leaders to integrate internationalisation perspectives into the content and delivery of education.
Research
My fields of research: Education for Sustainable Education (ESD) in healthcare contexts, Internationalisation of the Curriculum (IoC), teaching methodology for the glocal (global + local) classroom, bilingual/multilingual education, English-Medium Education (EME), continuous professional development of healthcare educators.
