I am a physician in Internal Medicine and a PhD student in Health and Technologies. I graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Naples (Italy) in 2013, then I specialized in Internal Medicine in 2019 at the University of Bologna (Italy). Since February 2020, I have worked at the Internal Medicine Unit named "addressed to Frailty and Aging" in Ravenna (Italy), where I gained interest and acquired skills in the geriatric field. Since that, I have been focusing my research activity on aging, in particular on frailty and sarcopenia.

As a PhD Student in Health and Technologies at the University of Bologna, I have been working on a project which evaluates an integrated, unobtrusive, low-cost modular system to monitor activity and heart rate around the clock in the older adults, to prolong healthspan through primary and secondary prevention of falls. I have also been involved in two wide research programs on ageing funded by the European Union (NextGenerationEU), i.e. the Age-IT project and the DARE project.
