I am a resident doctor in Family Medicine and a doctoral student at the Division of Family Medicine and Primary Care of ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡.  I hold a ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ degree from the Department of Medicine, University of Ioannina, Greece. I started my doctoral studies at KI in 2023 with funding from Region Stockholm's program for Forskar ST (research residency program). My journey in research started at APC (Academic center for Primary Care) within the Horizon 2020 consortium called LifeChamps. However, small steps into research were taken right after my graduation in the University of Ioannina. 

The focus of my previous research work was set on the health of older cancer survivors and how to use AI to support it.  Inspired by my clinical work and my interactions with society I am now more orientated towards models of care that can identify patients with high healthcare needs. I am interested to learn how such models based on patient-centered care and using complex interventions can contribute to equal access to healthcare, promote healthy aging and battle ageism in ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ practice.
