I am a registered nurse and specialist in intensive care. In 2013, I became a Doctor of Medicine. Today, I am active as a docent and lead the research group of perioperative care and intensive care at Södersjukhuset. I am the main supervisor of three Ph.D. students and the co-supervisor of eight. 

In general, my research is strongly based on clinically relevant questions and concerns morbidity and survivorship after critical illness and intensive care, but also in the field of esophageal cancer. In most studies, I have used data from national or regional cohorts, but I also have experience in qualitative research.
