My PhD research focuses on postoperative cognitive changes in older adults. My project is part of the PeriBrainCare research group, and I work under the main supervision of Professor Ulrica Nilsson. 

I have previously held several positions of trust at ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ as a student representative in the committee for PhD education (KFU), the dissertation committee, and the Medical Union's council.

My PhD dissertation title is "Assessment and identification of cognitive changes after surgery in older adults" and consists of the following studies: 

Study I: Clinical mixed-methods study at Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm with older adult patients undergoing orthopedic surgery. Study completed and published.

Study II: Systematic review and meta-analysis synthesizing evidence on psychological factors associated with postoperative cognitive outcomes in older adults. Submitted for publication.

Study III: Comparability study with analog and digital cognitive test batteries, with cognitively healthy older adults. Study completed and published.

Study IV: Clinical feasibility study at Ersta Hospital, Stockholm with older adult patients undergoing abdominal surgery. Submitted for publication.

Former clinical supervisor for nursing students, ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ students and residents.

Founded and hosted the popular-scientific podcast in Swedish called Specialistpodden 2018-2019.
