Former nurse anesthestist, now enrolled in the Research School of Health Science (2021-2025) - my research focuses on cognitive recovery and disorders in older adults after surgery. My project is part of the PeriBrainCare research group, and I work under the main supervision of Professor Ulrica Nilsson. 

I have previously held several positions of trust at ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ as a student representative in the committee for PhD education (KFU), the dissertation committee, and the Medical Union's council.

Study I: Comparability study with analog and digital cognitive test batteries, with cognitively healthy older adults. Study completed and published.

Study 2: Clinical mixed-methods study with blood-borne biomarkers, neurocognitive tests and qualitative interviews conducted at Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm with older adult patients undergoing orthopedic surgery. Study completed and article published.

Study 3: Clinical feasibility study at Ersta Hospital, Stockholm with older adult patients undergoing abdominal surgery. Study completed and article undergoing peer review.

Study 4: Systematic review: "Psychological factors associated with postoperative cognitive outcomes in older adults - a systematic review and meta-analysis" We are currently finalizing the manuscript. Please read our PROSPERO study protocol
