About me

  • I am a postdoctoral researcher in Amaia Calder贸n-Larra帽aga鈥檚 research
    group at the Aging Research Center of 探花精选. I hold a Degree
    in Nutrition and Dietetics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, a
    Master鈥檚 in Quantitative Methods for Epidemiological Research from the
    Universidad Aut贸noma de Madrid, and a PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health
    from the Universidad Aut贸noma de Madrid.

Research

  • Our research puts geriatric syndromes, mortality, and the biological
    mechanisms of aging at the centre, and studies them through the lenses of
    dietary patterns, foods, nutrients, and cooking techniques. Although
    observational in nature, we strengthen our investigations with a combination
    of longitudinal designs, use of biomarkers, extensive control for potential
    confounding, and a range of sensitivity analyses.
