  • I am a specialist nurse in paediatric care and have been a PhD student since
    May 2021. I am employed at Karolinska University Hospital as head of nursing
    developement within the neonatology department were my mission is to
    strategically monitor and develop nursing care in healthcare, research, and
    education.
    My doctoral project focuses on staffing and patient safety in paediatric
    inpatient care, and the main objective of the project is to examine nursing
    staffing and nursing-related patient outcomes, as well as the associations
    between them, with the aim of identifying critical thresholds for safe
    staffing.
