About me
- I hold a Master of Science in Global Health degree from ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡
with substantial experience in bio̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ sciences practice in Zimbabwe’s
tertiary hospitals and in an international public health NGO. My work
revolved around improving laboratory quality management toward accreditation,
increasing access to tests for monitoring HIV treatment, and TB monitoring
and surveillance testing.
I am a former board member of the Swedish Organization for Global Health [1],
where I led the Decolonizing Minds project, and an alumnus of the Global
Shapers Community [2] (an initiative of the World Economic Forum).

Research
- My research is on the development and deployment of diagnostics for
infectious diseases in low-resource settings (LRS). I have been involved in
the Global Child Health and Sustainable Development Goals [1]* *group’s
PIPOC project since February 2020 and am currently part of the KI
representation in the HoliCare [2] consortium. The projects are focussed on
the development and use of point-of-care diagnostics for infectious diseases
in LRS, including the development of the supporting infrastructure for
localized and sustainable diagnostics ecosystems.
