My research has a focus on pancreatology, from an epidemiological and clinical perspective and conducts high-quality studies on the progression and outcomes of acute pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis, autoimmune pancreatitis, hereditary pancreatitis, pancreatic exocrine and endocrine insufficiency, and fatty pancreas. Other research interests include the epidemiology and clinical perspective of precancerous pancreatic cystic lesions, the role of endoscopy and nutritional aspect in the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic diseases.
